   The oriental art of placement, FENG SHUI is increasingly being embraced by the world because we need it. It is not the spiritual "flavor of the month" so common today but an ancient body of wisdom that, properly applied, can effect dramatic, low cost solutions to toxic relationships between humans and their surroundings.

   Many centuries of perception and practice within a culture whose spiritual principles long ago incorporated the linkage of all into the One animated by the thread of Ch'i and learned to work with the apparent yin/yang duality of the universe have evolved this oldest of the eco-sciences. Feng Shui's purpose  to help restore and maintain the highest level of harmony in human relationships with our environment, our infrastructure, living/working spaces and each other, is enlightening us, just as humanity dangles on the edge of chaos with these relationships.

 Feng Shui has jumped from the Orient to North America and quickly spread around the rest of the world in several short years.  This planetary art form mostly transcends traditional barriers of race, religion, politics, sex and economic status because it seeks the level of harmony inherent to all of us. It has rapidly been incorporated into the work of government and town planners, architects, contractors, carpenters, landscape architects, interior designers and even real estate agents. 

Feng Shui blends aspects of Earth Day with spiritual principles of human synergy in relationships that transcend just this planet - they help recreate Universal harmony.

   It is increasingly apparent that many of our structures, our infrastructure and community layouts were ill conceived and are creating toxic effects to humans. The thread of ch'i or life force interpenetrates, animates and weaves everything in the universe into one living tapestry. Feng shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement that seeks to diagnose, channel, alter and enhance ch'i flow throughout our reality which helps restore universal harmony. 

   This acts in conjunction with our human ch'i and catalyzes health, success and well being on all levels. Using a blend of slides and lecture, we will discuss examples of healthy conduits as well as "seeing" blockages of the flow of ch'i in our homes, offices and property. This will include the basics of feng shui principles and simple inexpensive solutions that often effect immediate changes in residents' lives.

   As primal Ch'i slows down, thickens and condenses into the material world, it manifests as changing from light to color to sound to movement of form to static form. Each level acts as a template to form the next. Color and sound act on very formative pre-physical levels where the invisible creator beings - angels and elemental beings - utilize this primal Ch'i to "envision" the form world. This is a world of qualities rather than extensions 

or quantities where dissonance, dis-harmony and "dis-ease" in our thoughts and poor choices of colors/sounds begin the trek to physical/emotional/mental illness. In this workshop, we will look at the various color rays and sound octaves, their use in glass, an aura sensor, tuning forks, spinal charts and various other materials to further penetrate our world of color and sound. This will be interactive with plenty of handouts.

   The garden has long been a metaphor in many cultures for describing/teaching the working principles of our ch'i - animated living cosmos from the big picture (Garden of Eden) right down to our vegetable gardens and the structures/processes within our bodies - the garden within. In fact, we humans are a miniature copy of the cosmic Garden of Eden. Humans and plants have a very intimate relationship, a yin/yang dynamic

of apparent opposites that, in fact, need each other, are each other. We breathe oxygen which plants create for us. They breathe carbon dioxide which we exhale. Our roots are in the Heavens while a plant's are in the Earth. In fact, our organic structure resembles an upside down, inside out plant. What is this garden about? Come and explore!

   Throughout the ages, it has been said that only about 10% of our reality is what we call physical; the rest composed of layers of invisible beings who are the actual life force of the physical shell. Feng Shui's model shows that the universe is a great tapestry of life woven by the thread of Ch'i. The western model gives names to these layers of life - the elemental beings, angels, etc. and speaks of their role in the whole.

   In this presentation, we will look at these  beings,  their  functions, how they  

relate to Feng Shui's transcendental solutions and most importantly - how we can work directly with them to co-create a more harmonious reality. My work at the Findhorn Community, Feng Shui training and ceremonies at sacred sites have proven to me that it is now time to take control of our magic and work directly with the formative levels of reality. Highlights will be - connecting with the landscape angel of a locale, co-creating with the angel of a structure, personal and property "protection," building ceremonies, artificial elementals and ethics/moral integrity required for this work.

   The natural world of minerals, plants and animals manifest in forms that are naturally harmonious, efficient and "Ch'i friendly." As humans evolved, we will look at how "primitive" cultures' structures and infrastructure layout were, for the most part, also harmonious, efficient and "Ch'i friendly." However, in the last 150 years or so, this has changed. Most of the 

structures on the planet have been built with little consciousness to overall harmony and many of the odd shapes, sharp angles, toxic materials and dreadful relationships with nearby structures are promoting illness and inhibiting peoples' potentials. Through slides, lecture, music, models and dowsing, we will look at how structures conduct or block Ch'i, affect humans and what we can do about it.

   Here we will look at the parts of a home as a living system, and how classic and modern building materials affect the spirituality and toxicity of a home. The structure of a property can be seen as a living tapestry overseen by the Devas of buildings and appliances. By studying pre-

1850's methods of Midwifing a living home, we will understand how traditional cultures designed spaces to conduct and circulate Ch'i within and around buildings. Solutions for healthy living can be taken from archetypal forms in nature to create the essence of good Feng Shui.
